The 9-1-1 Communications Center comprises all communications equipment and systems used to receive 9-1-1 calls.
When there is an emergency, multiple systems are used to communicate with police, EMS, and fire units including a Geographic Information System (GIS) based, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, and multiple telephone and emergency radio systems.
There is continuous maintenance, updating, and upgrading of all systems to ensure the best possible communications system is available for those we serve.
