Welcome to Dutchess County employment! Here is some helpful information to assist you make a smooth transition on your first day.
Prior to your first day of employment, all new employees are required to undergo a criminal background check. The results of this background check are reviewed and kept confidential by the Department of Human Resources.
On your first day of work, you will attend an orientation provided by the Department of Human Resources and you will also meet with Payroll (Finance Department). Your department will inform you of the date and time you should attend. Please bring original documentation (not copies) to the orientation to complete your I-9.
