Summer Programs

Dutchess County Parks Survival Adventure programs strive to reconnect children with nature. The activities that take place during weekly camps are structured to be hands-on and allow for creative exploration. Whether campers are hiking, learning survival basics, playing games or telling stories, participants will be outside experiencing the world around them. The weekly camps stress the importance of working together to complete daily tasks. By leading, listening, and compromising, youth will build on interpersonal skills such as peer leadership, time management, personal responsibility, conflict resolution, and social competence all while having a great time exploring the outdoors.  Come out and join us in the park this summer!

Online registration for 2021 Summer Programs will open Tuesday, March 30.   Please contact the park naturalists at 845-298-4602 or by email at if you should have questions.
