Agriculture after high school:

There are many ways to continue your agricultural education after graduation- from hands-on training to advanced degrees

Pathways to consider include:

  • Certificates & Micro-Credentials – Short-term programs that build skills in specific areas such as greenhouse management, welding, or ag mechanics. (Some examples)
  • Apprenticeships & Workforce Training – Opportunities through BOCES, trade schools, or farm-based apprenticeships to learn while working.
  • Associate & Bachelor’s Degrees – Two- and four-year degree programs in agriculture, business, science, and sustainability.

This is not a complete list — students are encouraged to explore additional programs across New York State and beyond to find the best fit for their interests.
