The Dutchess County Planning Federation (DCPF) supports the work of local volunteers involved in the community planning process throughout the County. In partnership with the Dutchess County Department of Planning & Development, the Federation has offered newsletters and educational workshops to local officials and residents for more than 50 years.

In New York State, members of local planning boards and zoning boards of appeal are required to earn at least 4 hours of municipally‑approved training credits per year. To support our local volunteers, the DCPF offers training sessions each spring and fall.
