The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Internal Affairs Bureau is responsible for ensuring that the sworn and non-sworn members of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office are held to the highest standards possible. This is accomplished by holding members accountable to the policies and procedures of the Sheriff’s Office and as well as the laws of the State of New York. The Internal Affairs Bureau will promptly conduct impartial and unbiased investigations of member conduct.
