Drug Task Force - Apprehensions Related to S. Clinton Street Drug Raids Continue with Another Fentanyl Dealer Arrested

The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force continues to investigate the sale of narcotics and dangerous drugs in hot spot areas like South Clinton Street in the City of Poughkeepsie.  The City of Poughkeepsie community has been contacting the Drug Task Force for several months regarding drug sales on South Clinton Street and have been a critical component of the Drug Task Force investigations in this area.

During the course of this investigation Drug Task Force Agents began purchasing fentanyl out of an apartment off South Clinton Street where multiple suspects were selling narcotics.  On 2/13/25 an arrest was made and a notice was issued that other arrests are pending related to narcotic and dangerous drug dealers operating in this area.   During this investigation Drug Task Force Agents purchased fentanyl from Micael E. Sedano, 21 in the area of 4 South Clinton Street which has been the source of numerous public complaints made directly to the Drug Task Force.  

On 02/14/2025 Drug Task Force Agents located Mr. Sedano in the Town of Poughkeepsie where he was taken into custody without incident.

Mr. Sedano was charged with the following:

(1)    Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree a class B Felony.
Mr. Sedona was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie court and released with order to appear on a future date as required by current New York State law.    

This investigation is still active, and other arrests are pending related to activity in this specific area.   The Drug Task Force will continue to focus significant attention in this area where community members seek assistance with removing dangerous drug dealers.  

Multiple agencies assisted with locating Mr. Sedano so he could be taken into custody including the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Division, the City of Poughkeepsie Police and Town of Poughkeepsie Police.

As with any criminal case, the charges described above are merely an accusation and those individuals named in this release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
