The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of Ryan T. Gabriel, age 38 of Beekman, in connection with a recent commercial burglary and violation of a court order in the Town of Beekman.
At approximately 3:40 pm on 11/22/25 Deputies were dispatched to 2859 Route 55 in Beekman, the Total Care Pharmacy, for a report of a possible burglary in progress with an audible alarm sounding. Upon arrival it was discovered that someone had forcibly entered the building before stealing items and fleeing the scene. While conducting the initial investigation Deputies located Mr. Gabriel on foot close to the scene, and after further investigation he was taken into custody in connection with the burglary. Mr. Gabriel is accused of causing significant damage to the building and stealing medication during the burglary.
At this time Mr. Gabriel has been charged with Burglary 3rd degree (Fel), Grand Larceny 4th degree (Fel), Criminal Mischief 3rd degree (Fel), and Possession of Burglar’s Tools (Misd). After being processed he was arraigned before the Town of Beekman Court and released to the supervision of Probation, with a court order to stay at least 500 feet from the pharmacy.
A short time later Deputies on routine patrol observed Mr. Gabriel allegedly standing in front of the pharmacy, in direct violation of the aforementioned court order. Mr. Gabriel was then taken into custody once again and additionally charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree (Misd). After being processed he was transported back to the Town of Beekman Court for arraignment and released on an appearance ticket.
As with any criminal case the charges described above are merely accusations and Mr. Gabriel is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
