The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force has announced the successful execution of a search warrant at 489 Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie following a narcotics investigation.
Agents began the investigation after developing intelligence about a suspected dealer selling narcotics and dangerous drugs out of an apartment located on Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. Drug Task Force Agents identified Angel Lebron, age 48, as the individual allegedly distributing narcotics in the City. Over the course of the investigation, Agents conducted multiple purchases of narcotics from Lebron, which ultimately led to the securing of a search warrant for his residence and vehicle.
On November 25, 2025, Drug Task Force Agents with a City of Poughkeepsie K-9 Officer and members of the NYSP Community Stabilization Unit took Lebron into custody on North Clinton Street in the City of Poughkeepsie after he violently resisted his arrest while attempting to gain possession of a Drug Task Force Agent’s duty weapon. At the time of his arrest Lebron was found to be in possession of large quantities of cocaine.
Following his arrest members of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit (SWAT), the Poughkeepsie SWAT team and members of the Drug Task Force executed the search warrant at Lebron’s residence on Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. During the execution of this warrant large quantities of cocaine, drug packaging materials, U.S. currency, digital scales, ammunition, gun holster and other items associated with the sale and distribution of narcotics were seized.

Lebron was later arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to DCJ with no bail. There are multiple sales charges pending against Lebron related to this case by the Drug Task Force.
This investigation and enforcement action were made possible through close collaboration between the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureaus, Town of Poughkeepsie and City Police Departments, City of Beacon Police Department, Town of Hyde Park Police Department, Town of East Fishkill Police Department, and the Town of Fishkill Police Department.
