The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force is announcing a historic year of aggressive, intelligence driven operations that directly targeted narcotic and dangerous drug traffickers across the county. In 2025, the Task Force executed more raids and made more felony arrests and conducted more covert narcotics buys than at any point in its 36-year history, a clear message that drug dealers will face swift and decisive consequences in Dutchess County.
“Our top priority is protecting the people of Dutchess County and saving lives,” said Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi. “The District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and law enforcement partners use intelligence-driven investigations and smart, strategic prosecution to disassemble drug networks and keep fentanyl and other deadly substances out of our communities. Every investigation, every arrest, and every seizure puts traffickers on notice if you deal drugs in Dutchess County, you will be identified, targeted, and held fully accountable under the law.”
Created in 1989, the Drug Task Force has always been committed to saving lives by removing lethal substances from local communities. But 2025 marked a year defined by relentless investigative pace, coordinated intelligence with precise execution, and a refusal to allow narcotic and dangerous drug dealers to operate with impunity. Working side by side with prosecutors from the District Attorney’s Office Violent Crimes and Dangerous Drug Unit, the Task Force continues to set operational standards for narcotics enforcement.
“Drug dealers are killing our residents with Fentanyl and other poisons,” said Drug Task Force Coordinator Adam Harris. “This year, we made it unmistakably clear: if you sell deadly drugs in Dutchess County, we will find you, we will dismantle your operation, and we will hold you fully accountable. These numbers are not statistics, the work done by the District Attorney’s Drug Task Force saves lives. Every warrant or raid, every arrest, every seizure is one less opportunity for a dealer to put Fentanyl and other dangerous drugs into the hands of our residents.”
