The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of Johann D. Munoz, from the Town of Beekman, age 26, for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree which is a class B Felony.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force has been investigating the sale of counterfeit prescription Oxycodone pills containing deadly fentanyl by Mr. Munoz in the Town of East Fishkill, Town of Fishkill, and Town of Poughkeepsie.
On 08/31/23 members of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force apprehended Mr. Munoz in the parking lot of Walmart in the Town of Fishkill with the assistance of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau and seized a large quantity of counterfeit Oxycodone pills containing deadly Fentanyl. The Town of Fishkill Justice Court directed Mr. Munoz to appear in court on 09/12/23 at 9:00 am for arraignment.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force is operating in a fast and furious manner to hold drug dealers accountable in an attempt to keep fentanyl out of the hands of our vulnerable community members suffering from addiction.
