Drug Task Force – Harlem Valley Fentanyl Dealer Apprehended

The Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force began an investigation involving the sale of fentanyl and methamphetamine in the Harlem Valley of Dutchess County which refers to the Towns of Amenia, Town of Dover, and the Town/Village of Pawling where the Metro North Harlem line runs through.   During this investigation Drug Task Force Agents identified Gregory Iozzo age 42 selling narcotics and dangerous drugs in this area.

During this investigation Drug Task Force Agents began purchasing fentanyl from Mr. Iozzo on multiple occasions.  As a result, Drug Task Force Agents obtained a search warrant for his residence located on White Farm Road in the Town of Dover. 

In the early morning of 5/8/2025 Drug Task Force Agents, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit (SWAT) members and members of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol took Mr. Iozzo into custody without incident near his residence.  Soon after the search warrant was executed.  During Mr. Iozzo’s arrest he was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. 

Mr. Iozzo was charged with the following offenses related to this investigation:

  1. Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, intent to sell, a class B Felony.   

*Additional charges are pending against Mr. Iozzo related to this investigation.

Mr. Iozzo was arraigned in the Town of Dover Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. 

The Drug Task Force continues to work to prevent violent crime which is fueled by the sale of narcotics and dangerous drugs in Dutchess County.  Fentanyl and methamphetamine are some of the dangerous drugs that the Drug Task Force is working aggressively to remove from our communities

The Drug Task Force was assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Bureau and the District Attorney’s Office Violent Crime and Dangerous Drug Unit assisted with this investigation.
