The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Ahmed Eladdioui, age 20 of Poughkeepsie, NY, in connection with an investigation at the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center. Mr. Eladdioui was incarcerated at the time of the incident and remains there at the time of this writing.
Mr. Eladdioui is accused of fighting with another incarcerated individual in the facility causing minor injury to that person. He was arrested on 7/22/24 and has been charged with Attempted Assault 2nd (Felony). Mr. Eladdioui is scheduled to appear before the City of Poughkeepsie Court for arraignment on 8/6/24.
As with any criminal case the charges described above are merely accusations, and Mr. Eladdioui is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
