The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple larcenies from parked vehicles that occurred in the late evening hours of Friday, July 23rd and into the early morning hours of Saturday, July 24th, 2021.

The vehicles that were targeted were parked in residential driveways on South Parliman Road, Darren Road, Oakbrook Lane, Brookside Lane and Rose Court in the Town of Union Vale. Most of the vehicles were unlocked and the perpetrator(s) stole wallets, cash and other valuables from inside the vehicles.

The Sheriff’s Office strongly urges everyone throughout Dutchess County to lock their vehicle doors and avoid leaving keys, key fobs, wallets, money, credit cards, or any other valuable items inside your vehicle.
