The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Fatjon Sulaj, age 35 of Yonkers NY, in connection with a recent investigation into the larceny of money under false pretenses.
A complaint was made to the Sheriff’s Office’s Detective Bureau approximately one (1) month ago, after which an investigation was conducted and Mr. Sulaj was arrested on 7/29/25. At this time Mr. Sulaj is accused of stealing money in excess of $50,000 after he was hired to do artwork for a local church, but then failed to do the work.
At this time Mr. Sulaj has been charged with Grand Larceny in the 2nd degree, which is a felony. After being processed he was released with an appearance ticket, and is due to appear before the Town of Hyde Park Court on 8/12/25 at 5 pm.
