The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation into two separate residential burglary sprees throughout Dutchess County, along with the arrest of different suspects for both.
The first case involves two suspects and burglaries to private residences that were committed in the Towns of Wappinger, LaGrange, and East Fishkill. The suspects are identified as Amanda Bosan (age 24 of East Fishkill) and Anthony Frustaglio (age 23 of East Fishkill), and both have been charged with two (2) counts of burglary in the 2nd degree (Class C Felony). The property stolen consisted of jewelry and currency; some of the property has been recovered and attempts are still being made to recover more. The investigation was conducted by members of the Sheriff’s Office Patrol & Detective Divisions along with the Town of East Fishkill Police Detective Division, and is continuing at this time with more charges possible. Both suspects were arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
The second case involves three suspects and numerous residential burglaries in the Towns of Union Vale and Dover, and the investigation began with information developed by a Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy during a recent traffic stop. The suspects are identified as Sydney White (age 23 of Union Vale), Jeremy Heisler (age 24 of Union Vale), and James Hansen (age 20 of Union Vale). All three have been charged with six (6) counts of burglary in the 2nd degree (Class C Felony) – 5 in Union Vale and 1 in Dover. The property taken consisted of jewelry, guns, electronics, currency, power tools, and sports memorabilia. Some of the property has been recovered, however some has not and attempts are still being made to recover more. All three suspects were arraigned at the Town of Union Vale Court, and have been remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. The investigation is continuing with more charges possible at a later time.
It is not believed that the two cases described above are related to each other, and as of this release no further suspects have been identified in either case. As in all criminal cases, the charges described above are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. More information may be released as it becomes available.
