The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Anthony S. Howard, age 20 of Beekman, for burglary in the second degree (Class C Felony) and petit larceny (Class A Misd.) stemming from an ongoing investigation.
Sheriff’s Patrol and Detective Division members have been investigating a series of burglaries to a residence in the Town of Beekman over the course of the last 2 months. During the investigation Mr. Howard was developed as a suspect, and he was subsequently arrested and charged at approximately 4:30 pm on 7/11/13. Mr. Howard has been charged with entering the residence of his tenant and stealing women’s undergarments.
After being processed Mr. Howard was arraigned before the Town of Beekman Court, and was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. An order of protection was also put in place by the court, which orders Mr. Howard to stay away from the victim’s residence.
