Poughkeepsie…The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the felony arrests of Manuel Coronel & Ronald Decker over the weekend.
On Saturday February 15, 2014 at 3:33am, Manuel Coronel (29 yoa) of Wappingers Falls, NY was arrested and charged with DWI & BAC .08% or more, both misdemeanors, as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st, a felony, subsequent to a traffic stop on Baker Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. The AUO charge was a felony since his license was suspended for a DWAI related charge and he was intoxicated while he was operating the vehicle. He was released to appear in the City of Poughkeepsie Court on March 11, 2014 at 9:00am.
On Sunday February 16, 2014 at 7:04pm, Ronald Decker (31 yoa) of Pleasant Valley was arrested and charged with felony DWI and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, a traffic infraction, after being involved in a property damage auto crash on Smith Road in the Town of Pleasant Valley, NY. The DWI was a felony due to the fact that Decker had a prior DWI conviction within the previous ten years. He was released to appear in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on March 6, 2014 at 5:30pm.
