The Dutchess County Office for the Aging offers a wide variety of services to meet the nutritional needs of persons 60 years and older. Services include congregate meals at OFA Friendship Centers, Home Delivered Meals for homebound older adults, nutrition education and counseling, picnics during the summer, and year-round health promotion events.
OFA Friendship Centers (also known as Congregate Sites) - For those older adults who wish a tasty, nutritious meal combined with social activities and fellowship. Most of the eight OFA friendship centers are open Monday through Thursday.

Note: the distribution of coupon booklets for the 2023 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) for qualifying Dutchess County older adults is underway, while supplies last. Coupon booklet distribution at OFA offices in Poughkeepsie will take place only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 - 4:00 pm. Coupon booklets will also be distributed at OFA's seven Friendship Centers outside Poughkeepsie, with distribution hours available on request.
