DUTCHESS COUNTY COMPTROLLER ROBIN LOIS RELEASES Q4 UPDATE ON ALLOCATION AND SPENDING OF AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) FUNDS

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – The Dutchess County Comptroller’s Office has released their Q4 special update report on the ARP federal funding, the “Dutchess Invests” spending plan, and actual expenditures/obligations of the County as of December 31, 2022. The County has received a total of $57,148,397 in ARP funds and has since spent $19,587,13, of which $3,274,929 was spent in the 4th quarter.

The largest expenses in the 4th quarter of 2022 were for:

  • $502,003 – Youth Opportunity Union (YOU) Architectural Design Services
  • $425,366 – Agency Partner Grant (APG) to Family Services for Facilities Renewal Project
  • $394,697 – County Government Payroll & Benefits
  • $392,991 – Wilcox Park Splash Pad (County Parks)
  • $315,353 – YOU Demolition Costs
  • $222,554 – Dutchess Stadium Design Services

The Learn, Play, Create grant budget has been fully expended as of December 31, 2022, with recipients receiving $2,999,963, a detailed schedule of which is included in the Q4 report.

ARP funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024 and spent by December 31, 2026.
