County Executive Molinaro to Present Overview of 2013 Tentative Budget at Town Hall Forum in Fishkill

On Wednesday, November 28th, 2012 at 5pm, Village of Fishkill Mayor James Miccio will welcome Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro to the Van Wyck Hall for a town hall forum to discuss the 2013 Tentative County Budget.  County Executive Molinaro will present the components and major initiatives of the 2013 Budget proposal and welcomes questions and feedback from residents.

County Executive Molinaro will outline the major components of his Tentative Budget proposal including:

• Reorganization and Consolidations of County Departments
• Major Initiatives including the Resource Recovery Agency and Inmate Housing Out Policy
• Economic Benefit and Shared Services including:

Sales Tax Distribution Change

Competitive Municipal Grant Program to incentivize consolidation and redundancy of services

Agency Grant Program, a competitive grant program for non-profits agencies

• Workforce Reduction
• Multi-Year Approach to problem solving and transformation of county government

The forum is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. The Village of Fishkill’s Van Wyck Hall is located at 1095 Main Street in the Village of Fishkill.
