SUBJECT: Dutchess County Executive’s Annual Report for 2022
Pursuant to the Dutchess County Charter, filed herewith is the County Executive’s written report of the finances of the County and the activities of the Executive Branch of County Government for the year 2022.
This administration has appreciated the beneficial partnership it has enjoyed with the Dutchess County Legislature for more than a decade, a collaboration that has provided exemplary service for the residents who call this county home. I’m proud to submit to you the activities of the Executive Branch for the past year, highlighting the diverse work completed by our departments in 2022. Dutchess County is blessed to have such an active, eager, and dynamic team of department heads in place to deliver the high-quality programs and services on which those in our community rely. These leaders, and the more than 1,800 dedicated men and women they oversee, are the essence that keep this County government vibrant and engaged with the residents it serves. In the following pages, you’ll glean just a fraction of the remarkable work each department, division, and office carries out – every day, year-round – to the benefit of their Dutchess County neighbors. I know you share the same pride in this team that I do, and I encourage you to share that confidence and satisfaction with the residents you each represent.
Bolstered by the successes detailed in this report, we will look toward the future of Dutchess County when I host the annual State of the County Address on Wednesday, March 8th at 5:30 p.m. inside the Culinary Institute of America’s Marriott Pavilion. I look forward to your attendance as we continue our successful partnership in the coming year.
