Don is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  He believes in smaller, efficient government, and has previously served on the Pleasant Valley Town Board for seven years, as well as serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals.  Don is also active in outreach of the community serving as a volunteer and youth mentor for Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church and their annual service for the Appalachian Service Project, Operation Christmas Child, as well as supporting the Hillcrest House Homeless Shelter and Bright Nights.  Don has lived in Pleasant Valley with his family for 25 years.  His professional experience is as a financial executive with a  Dutchess County family owned business.
