Poughkeepsie… The Local Early Intervention Coordinating Council (LEICC) invites the public to attend its next meeting on Thursday, January 17th, from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Dutchess County Emergency Response Center, located at 392 Creek Road, Poughkeepsie. The snow date for the meeting is January 24th.
The purpose of the LEICC, which includes parents, professionals and community members, is to provide a forum to discuss issues related to the needs of young children with developmental delays and their families, as well as share education, ideas, concerns and experiences.
The LEICC meets bi-annually to provide program updates and discuss issues and policies related to the New York State Early Intervention Program, which provides services for children with disabilities from ages birth through 3 years.
