Mental Health Town Halls

To better reach residents and families living with mental health and substance use issues and hear their feedback on the local services available to them, the Dutchess County Department of Mental Health (DMH) hosts annual Mental Health Town Halls.

These Town Halls will offer residents the opportunity to share their experiences and give input to DMH about services in the following areas:

  • Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • Substance Use, Addiction and Recovery
  • Mental Health Needs for Youth & Adults

Each Town Hall will feature representatives from local service providers as well as County departments. Registration is not necessary and you can attend any event.

Simultaneous Spanish translation will be available at each event. For other accommodations, such as American Sign Language interpreters, please give DMH at least 7 days' notice by emailing edentrone@dutchessny.gov or calling 845-486-2885.

If you are unable to attend, or do not feel comfortable speaking in public, we still want your voice to be heard. We encourage you to submit your comments below. Please be sure to select a topic from the drop-down menu, and share which event you plan to attend in the comment section.
