Last Day to pay the Town Tax Collector, with penalty, in all towns except Hyde Park, Poughkeepsie, and Wappinger. Village tax bills are sent to village residents and their escrow holders.
June 1 **Saturday pushes town to end 6/2 and County to start 6/3

August 31 **holiday pushes town to end 9/3 and County to start 9/4
Last day for the Hyde Park, Poughkeepsie and Wappinger Receivers to collect tax (with penalty).

School Districts mail their School tax bills to property owners and escrow holders within their district.
September 15 **Sunday pushes Installment to due by 9/16
The first School tax installment payment is due to the School District if you opt to use the plan available for Carmel, Dover, Millbrook, Pawling, Pine Plains Rhinebeck, and Webutuck School Districts.

All County & Town, Beacon School (prior year) and Hyde Park Fire taxes must be paid to avoid advertisement in Poughkeepsie Journal.
November 1
Unpaid County & Town, Hyde Park Fire taxes, and Beacon School (prior year) are placed on a List of Delinquent Taxes.

Dutchess County Commissioner of Finance Collects School and Village Taxes for districts whose warrants have expired. All payments must be received in our office by 5pm on November 22nd.
Postmarks will not be accepted.

Beacon School District returns unpaid School taxes for properties within Fishkill and Wappinger, with penalty and interest.
November 22
School and Village taxes remaining unpaid after 5pm this date are added to next year's property tax bill with a 7% re-levy fee.
