The Finance and Real Property Tax offices are open to the public. Tax payments may be left in a Drop Box in the lobby of 22 Market Street from 9 to 5 or made in person on the 4th floor until 4:00. Receipts are available upon request.

The Commissioner of Finance is responsible for the collection of hotel occupancy taxes imposed on the occupancy of hotel rooms
The County sales tax is collected by the State of New York. The current sales tax effective June 1, 2005 is 8.125%
