Diversity & Inclusion

The County’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Inclusion Officer (EEOIO), with support from the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, works collaboratively to develop, coordinate and implement initiatives to promote a workforce that reflect the valuable mix of abilities, experiences, cultures and ideas that makes Dutchess County unique.

The EEOIO is also responsible for investigating complaints of alleged job discrimination and providing recommendations for addressing issues, coordinating the County’s 55-a program and requests for accommodations related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and chairs the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
