The County’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Inclusion Officer (EEOI) works with community partners to improve communication and awareness of civil service opportunities to engage underrepresented populations and promote a workforce that reflects the valuable mix of abilities, experiences, cultures and ideas that makes Dutchess County unique.
The EEOI Officer is also responsible for investigating complaints of alleged job discrimination and providing recommendations for addressing issues, coordinating the County’s 55-a program and requests for accommodations related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
