A Public Hearing will be held by the Dutchess County Independent Reapportionment Commission on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dutchess Community College, Fishkill Campus, 461 U.S. Route 9, Fishkill, New York.
The purpose of these hearings is to provide the public opportunity to inspect and comment on the Commission’s draft plan which includes the Independent Reapportionment Commission’s proposed draft redistricting map of the Dutchess County Legislative Districts approved April 26, 2022; Evidence of compliance of such proposed draft map with United States Voting Rights Act Section 2; and necessary well-established measurements of compactness comparing existing and proposed districts.

This notice is given in order to comply with Local Law No. 1 of 2022, Section 3(f)5 and the Open Meetings Law.
