This 15-mile continuous paved trail runs from Hopewell Junction/Hopewell Depot Trail Head in East Fishkill, down to Pawling, New York. This section is a part of the larger 750-mile Empire State Trail which showcases New York’s special places, diverse history, and iconic landscapes. The Dutchess County section traverses the former Maybrook Rail corridor passing through Stormville, and Poughquag. The trail is a shared use paved pedestrian path for all ages and abilities.
