Bowdoin Park

Bowdoin Park is a picturesque 301-acre park located in Southern Dutchess County. This park has amazing views overlooking the Hudson River and is a perfect venue to host your next gathering or event.

Park facilities include:

  • Picnic areas
  • Playground area
  • Seasonal Splash Pad Open daily 10 am -7 pm (Weather Permitting)  
  • Soccer fields, two softball fields and a sand volleyball court
  • Gaga ball pit
  • Nationally recognized cross-country course that utilizes the parks well-maintained hiking trails
  • Sledding Hill and Ice Skating Rink (Weather Permitting)
  • Wetland observation areas

Having an event? Bowdoin Park also has a variety of rental accommodations which include:

  • Five pavilions
  • Community Auditorium room 
  • Ellessdie Chapel
  • Maple Knoll Lodge

Park Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Park office is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
