New York State Office of Real Property Services Exemptions listed by law reference. New York State Office of Real Property Services Exemption Applications and Instructions should be filed with your local assessor prior to Taxable Status Date, March 1, for all Dutchess County cities and towns.
Use the Request for Owner Name Change or Removal on Assessment Records Form (.pdf) to request a name to be changed or removed from the Assessment Roll. Proper legal documentation must be included with the form.
