Final Environmental Assessment / Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for Hudson Valley Regional Airport

Dutchess County announces the availability of a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed Runway 6-24 Safety Area Improvements project at the Hudson Valley Regional Airport. The Final EA has been prepared in accordance with the Federal National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, as amended, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Order 1050.1F, FAA Order 5050.4B. The purpose of the proposed project is to bring Runway 6-24 runway safety areas into compliance with federal design standards and regulations. After careful consideration of the information contained in the Final EA, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has determined that significant environmental effects will not result from the proposed action.  Therefore, the FAA has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). Learn more
