The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office has a long and distinct history of serving the protecting people in Dutchess County for over 300 years. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Divisions is fully accredited with the New York State Department of Criminal Justices Services (DCJS). Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office is also accredited through the New York State Sheriff’s Association in the Civil Bureau and Correctional Division.
