Secondhand Licensing

Dutchess County requires any person purchasing secondhand articles including precious metals to be licensed per Local Law No. 5 of 2018. 

For Residents

Residents of Dutchess County must review and complete

For Non-Residents

Non-Dutchess County residents or business owners applying for a Secondhand License must also complete

Renewals

The License expires two (2) years after issue. You will need to submit a Renewal Form (.pdf) one (1) month prior to expiration.

Change of Information

If you currently have a Secondhand License and your information has changed, you will need to submit a Change of Information Form (.pdf)
