This funding can be used by participating municipalities to address infrastructure, housing, and handicapped accessibility improvements throughout Dutchess County. Approximately 15% goes to Human Service program services, and approximately 3% will be used for the Senior Citizen Owner-Occupied Property Rehabilitation Program (see Programs for Individuals).

Applications are now being accepted from municipalities who are members of the 2022-2024 CDBG County Consortium. Approximately $1,000,000 will be made available for projects that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income residents. Applying is a two-step process requiring completion of the LOI and the Application within the Dutchess County Grant Portal with deadlines as follows:
Municipalities must hold a public hearing to solicit application ideas from the public, so please schedule your public hearing as soon as possible.
